For a new/proposed OWNER to transfer water/sewer service into their name please fill out the form below at least 7 business days PRIOR to the scheduled close of escrow date to allow time for processing. Otherwise, the transfer will not be completed on the day of escrow closing.

For quick and easy access to account activity please contact us 3-5 days after escrow closes to obtain your new account number and register on our online portal.

Your water/sewer services will be billed monthly. Billing invoices reflect the amount of water used in the previous month. Applicable fixed charges are also included every month whether usage occurs or not and payment is due regardless of receiving an invoice. Meters are read every 26 to 35 days.

Rainbow Municipal Water District assumes no responsibility for damage or injury due to water pressure. The submitter of this form agrees to assume responsibility for all charges and account classification including applicable monthly fixed charges related to classification and whether usage occurs or not. Payment is due regardless of receiving an invoice on this account from the effective date of service and agrees to notify RMWD of any changes to the information stated above. The submitter further agrees to notify RMWD when responsibility for this account ceases and provide a correct forwarding address for the closing bill. If at any time this account is overdue, RMWD retains the right, after sufficient attempt of notification, to discontinue service and charge any applicable penalties and late fees. Responsibility for delinquent water bills by a tenant rest with the owner as authorized by State Water Codes 71618, 72100 & 72101.
