The weather calendar is here to help our customers understand their water consumption based on the weather patterns. Our water usage is often based on the weather just like our energy consumption. If you have water usage that seems too high, many times the reason is that we had a heat spell during the read period on your bill statement and therefor increased are watering schedule.
The District reads your meter monthly and the bills are not generated for a few weeks and we often forget what might have increased our water consumption for that month.
We suggest you compare the read period stated on your bill with the weather during that same period of time. You may find irrigation or household consumption goes up during a heat wave and this is reflected on your bill.
