Ms. Largent joined Rainbow Municipal Water District as the Finance Manager in November 2018.  As a member of the District’s senior management team,  Ms. Largent serves under the administrative direction of the General Manager, plans, directs, and oversees Finance, Customer Service, warehouse, and the District’s purchasing functions, administers accounting and financial activities with the District including payroll and financial reporting functions, and assists the General Manager with the protection of the District’s assets and the maintenance of budgetary and internal controls.

Ms. Largent brings over 20 years of accounting and financial experience to the district.  She started her accounting career in the private sector at CPA firms, preparing personal and corporate taxes, compiling financial statements, providing financial planning, and assisting in the formation of corporations.  She then moved into the government accounting world working for a software company converting finance, payroll, fixed assets and utility billing software for cities, schools and municipalities; then training clients on their new software.   

Ms. Largent worked as the Chief Financial Officer for a mid-sized private company in Carlsbad when first coming to California in 2008.  She then got back into government as the Revenue Manager at North County Transit District.  The last position held prior to joining RMWD was as Accounting Manager at the City of Oceanside.

Ms. Largent graduated with a Bachelor’s of Administration in Accounting from the University of Montana, Missoula in 2001. She has been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 2007.
