The District has several active projects that are part of our infrastructure enhancement focusing the assets that are owned collectively by all of our customers in the form of our distribution system. RMWD’s task is to efficiently manage your investment to get the maximum service from them at the most reasonable expense and here are ways.
We manage a distribution system that covers over 80 square miles and consists of over 325 miles of pipelines! These assets allow the water that started as snow in the Rockies to gets to your home, and the management of the assets that deliver this water to you is the core of what we do here at RMWD. Here are some of our projects currently underway.
Rainbow Municipal Water District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Rainbow Municipal Water District
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
other impairments to understand and use the website to the same degree as someone without disabilities. We welcome
feedback and can often resolve issues in a timely manner if they arise.
