In our August newsletter, we described some of the factors that cause RMWD’s rates to be different than other areas. We got some excellent feedback from those who read the newsletter and we appreciate all your comments. As the new year approaches, so do increases in water costs, so the RMWD Board along with the Budget and Finance Committee are now working on our new rates for 2018 and beyond. We wish we could tell you rates are going down, but alas they are not. This month we will focus a bit on why our rates always seem to be going up.
Rainbow Municipal Water District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Rainbow Municipal Water District
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
other impairments to understand and use the website to the same degree as someone without disabilities. We welcome
feedback and can often resolve issues in a timely manner if they arise.

Rainbow Municipal Water District regularly scans its website to ensure ongoing compliance, and makes timely
changes to any inaccessible changes, if any are found.
