The San Diego County Water Shed Protection program is partnering with Solana Center for Environmental Innovation to host several rain barrel distribution events for San Diego County residents. They are offering 50 gallon rain barrels at a discounted rate, now until a week before the events.
Rain barrels help reduce storm water pollution by keeping more water on site and out of storm drains that can carry pollution to other areas.
