What do STEM and RMWD have in common? Well, you can probably imagine Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) and RMWD have a lot in common and that is why we are partnering with local agencies to promote these skills and careers in water technology.  Most recently we were invited to present at Potter Jr. High in Fallbrook during their career day event on January 30, 2019.

We agree with the Department of Education when they say, “it’s more important than ever for our youth to be equipped with the knowledge and skills to solve tough problems, gather and evaluate evidence, and make sense of information. These are the types of skills that students learn by studying science, technology, engineering, and math—subjects collectively known as STEM.” These are also the kind of hard-working staff we look for and the type of thinking we encourage here at the District.
