In July 2015 State Assembly Member Waldron presented RMWD with a Certificate of Recognition from the State Assembly for our recent award of a Transparency Certificate of Excellence from the Special District Leadership Foundation. The Transparency Certificate is awarded to public agencies who demonstrate a core value of open and transparent practice of governance for the public. RMWD’s Board President Dennis Sanford (pictured here with Engineering Manager Sherry Kirkpatrick) accepted the Certificate of Recognition on behalf of the RMWD Board and ratepayers. We are proud that our efforts to remain open and transparent with our ratepayers has been recognized at the Statewide level.
Rainbow Municipal Water District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Rainbow Municipal Water District
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
other impairments to understand and use the website to the same degree as someone without disabilities. We welcome
