In response to new drinking water laws the District is currently retrofitting three of its reservoirs; North, Northside, and Morro. North Reservoir was completed in 2009. Northside Reservoir was completed in 2010. Morro Reservoir is currently under construction and scheduled for completion in 2011.
If you would like to visit the Morro Reservoir job site during construction please contact the Engineering Department (760.728.1178). We would be happy to provide tours for individuals or groups. Come see your District at work!
Hypalon material is used to line and cover three of the District’s four open treated water reservoirs. The material is processed and manufactured in California.
